Cotuit
Cotuit is a village on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and it is located on a peninsula on the south side of Barnstable.
Cotuit was named so because of the famous Cotuit Oysters. With its perfect location and with miles of coastline in Cotuit Bay and Nantucket Sound Cotuit is developed in favour of tourism. The commercial zone is small with only a few businesses located in the center of the villagePrimarily residential, Cotuit offers several small beaches including Ropes Beach, Riley's Beach, The Loop Beach and Oregon Beach.
Cotuit Bay is a quite harbour and part of the so-called Three Bays system which includes North and West Bays.
Cotuit is also known for art and culture – the unique places, proving this are the Cahoon Museum of Modern Art as well as the Cotuit Center for the Arts.
