Wellfleet
Bounded on the east by the ocean and the west by Cape Cod Bay, Wellfleet is located seventy miles out into the Atlantic ocean on the outer end of Cape Cod. Most of the area of the community is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore Park.
Wellfleet offers many beautiful and clear ponds and bay-side beaches. The famous Wellfleet Harbor reveals a magnificent view of sail boats, sport fishing boats and motor yachts.
The town has one of the most densely concentration of art galleries on the Cape. Through the years, Wellfleet has gained a reputation as the Cape’s “rt gallery town".
The annual October Wellfleet Oyster fest celebrates the famous characterization of Wellfleet – the oysters. The town is well-known for its plentiful supply of shellfish.
